Great food, prepared fresh to orderThe Saxon Arms prides itself on delivering high quality pub food at affordable prices and this philosophy is successfully realised by an award winning team of chefs who serve great pub classics as well as modern innovative dishes which has gained us a reputation amongst both critics and the community as one of the finest pubs dining venues in Dorset.

The pub's daily-changing specials of at least eight to twelve main courses often include mixed meat platters, pork medallions and Creedy Farm duck breast. You'll also find fresh, local fish selections of hand dived Portland scallops, king prawns, sea bream, prime English meats, local game and vegetarian dishes, not to mention a comprehensive English cheese board.
