Gareth Homer (Dorset's Rungis Chef of the Year 2003) heads up our kitchen - previously Head Chef at our sister pub, The Kings Arms, in Longham (Dorset Dining Pub of the Year 2012).

The Saxon Arms prides itself on delivering high quality pub food at affordable prices. This has gained us a reputation amongst both critics and the community as one of the finest pubs dining venues in Dorset.

The pub's daily-changing specials often include mixed meat platters, pork medallions and Creedy Farm duck breast. You'll also find fresh, local fish selections of hand dived Portland scallops, king prawns, sea bream, prime English meats, local game and vegetarian dishes, not to mention a comprehensive English cheese board.
